I'm unable to install my custom Forge app via distribution link on a newly created Jira Cloud site, even though I created the site and am confirmed as the org admin. The install flow shows the error: "You aren’t currently an admin of any sites. You’ll need to be an admin of at least one site to install this app."

Atlassian has a tricky permission set. While you are org admin, you are NOT Jira admin yet!
If you go to your Jira instance, click on the Settings gear in the top right next to your avatar, and go to System. About 4 links down in "Security" is "Global permissions". Click on that. At the very top is "Administer Jira." That is usually defaulted to two groups: jira-admins and org-admins.
Check that setting first. If that isn't it, I turned the watcher on this thread so, feel free to ping me if this didn't work and we'll try another solution.
Hi @Liz Tanner I can see 4 groups in the Administer Jira, org-admins, jira-users, jira-user-access-admins and jira-admins.

Yes I observed the same, I think something must have changed on the Atlassian side

I've just tested this using my personal site / login and it was working for me. Are you both still experiencing this issue @Alex Alpert and @Natsu Dragneel ?

Hi @Mel Paisley I’m still facing the issue. The sites created more than two weeks ago appear in the “Select a site to install this app on:” list, but the ones created since last week are not showing up. This problem started last week, and newly created sites have not been appearing in the list since then.

Yes still experiencing the issue. I can’t download the Forge app on any new Confluence or Jira sites. I have tried turning off/on Sharing in my developer portal and generating a new share link for the app, but nothing has worked.
