I've created a new project called Stock, and am using the Email Request issue type but for some reason it's coming up as invalid and I'm not sure why.
I had the same issue the last time and I've obviously missed something.
I've got the exact same problem. I have to say coming from Jira on premise version ~8 Cloud leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to administration. The interface has been destroyed, and for what? Everything is all over the place. Not sure why I can't just edit the request type and remap it to another issue.
That is odd, the only way I can replicate this is to create the request, selecting an issue type for it, then remove the issue type from the project's issue type scheme.
And that can be fixed by editing the request - it demands that you select a new issue type.
Are you getting this when you create a new request type? Is it letting you select issue types that do not exist in the project?
