Next Gen Project - Board Column

I have a next gen project that uses a status called Code Complete in workflow and in the board there is a code complete column . My understanding is  If I remove the status from the workflow and the column from the board  after converting the status into say in QA, I won't lose any of the issues. Can any one confirm if my understanding is correct?

Hi Abin,

If all you are doing is renaming the status, then yes, you should be fine. Simply go into the board and change the name of the column. That will change the name of the status as well.
