Next-gen epic status vs. roadmap status

In the roadmap view there are three statuses, To do/In Progress/Done, but my epics inherit the potential statuses of the stories. In my case this is something like To Do/Code/Codecheck/BLSO/Done. Can the epic statuses mirror the roadmap set of to do/in progress/done. Even better, can they update automatically such that when at least 1 issue within the epic is in a progress status the epic is in progress and if all issues are done the epic is done?

the workflow TO DO/IN PROGRESS/DONE is the default in next-gen proejct for roadmap view. you cannot add new statuses there. 

however you can go on to your board and add columns there that match your workflow. for e.g you can go to board and click on + sign on the right and add a new column. you can then change your epic statuses as per the columns. 

there are some automation rules in nxt-gen projects but the one that you are talking about in which epics can be marked done when all child issues are marked done is not there. 

you can checkout out atlassian marketplace for apps that willhelp you add more rules. one such app is Automation for JIRA which lets you run 300 free rules.
