OMG! Atlassian did it again! Why o why?! Another jarring change to Jira!
The Z key no longer toggles Full Screen on a Jira board! I hit the Z key every time I open a board, refresh the browser page, or restart the browser. Why doesn't Jira remember the setting! The normal non-scrolling header takes up half my laptop display - the board is almost unusable. I need Full Screen, so the header takes up only a third of the display.
Why was it changed to Shift-Z?
So many changes to Jira in recent years simply make the product less usable - especially for long-time users.
And why does the Keyboard Shortcuts Help popup still show "Z" for Full Screen?
Hello @Don Arsenault
In my environment (Free subscription) Shift+Z toggles a board display to and from full screen. Does that not work anymore in your environment?
Atlassian does roll out changes to instances in waves, so the change may just not have hit my instance yet.
I did actually try it to confirm that it works for my instance. I also tried it in another Premium instance to which I have access. Both tries were on boards associated with Company Managed Software projects.
It changed from Z to Shift-Z in my company's instance today.

Good to know that the functionality is still available, even if accessed differently.
It isn't functionality that I used before so I don't have knowledge of it having previously been available by pressing just the "z" key (lower case z) without the Shift (upper case Z).
