Is it possible for a non JIRA user to be able to view an issue rather than the whole project dashboard? The idea is for the business user to complete a form on sharepoint and a JIRA task is created, we then send an email to the business user with the JIRA number/link, and from there the idea is that they can view the issue without being a JIRA user. How do we make this happen?
You can grant "anonymous" access to the project that the issue is in.
But this does mean anyone can see all the issues in the project, and dashboards and so-on in Jira without logging in. You can still hide things from view with a security level, but it's not possible to just "see issue and nothing else".
And just to clarify, by anyone - even people/someone who is NOT a Jira User will be able to view the project and all other issues in the project?
