Not able to delete the other issue types from my project

Suppose my Project A is currently having the issue types bug, story task, subtask and test and I have also created lots of issues inside my project with the above mentioned issue types. Now I don't need Bug, story and test. I only need task and subtask. What I need to do for this?

Is it possible to remove the Bug, story etc from my project since I have had already created 900+ issues in my project with that issue types

If you delete an issue type from the projects issue type scheme, Jira will walk you through migrating the existing issues of that type to another type.
