As this ootb feature is only available for JSM project, you wil require a marketplace app like Time to SLA.
This app allows to create sla's usable within all jira applications.

The SLA feature is part of Jira Service Management. So you must be looking at a JSM project to find it. It is not available in Jira Software, Jira Work Management or Jira Product Discovery products.
If that doesn't explain, please provide a screenshot of where you would expect to see the feature in your instance, so we can give a more informed advice.

Thanks Walter, I want to use this feature in JIRA software to track various status's SLA and may be add some automation on top of it to make progress tracking easier and more visible. Is there any alternate to get this done in JIRA Software.
