Not getting Email Notifications- from 1 User during Issue Reopened

I am having problems getting Email Notifications in 1 Project- in a specific case- it's one user that Reopens issues- whenever he reopens issues- I don't get those emails.

Other users can reopen items and I get Emails- 

my rights are setup that for any updates in this Project- I receive all notifications

If this 1 User Adds new issues, Closes Issues, etc- I get those Emails

It's only if something is Reopened and Assigned back to a developer- that I am not getting those emails- Note- the Developer who is assigned to the reopened issue- gets the email

 

Any suggestions??

Hi Michele,

welcome to the Community!

In case you can rule Jira out as a source of missing mails (I am sure you already checked Notification Schemes as well as you tried to debug with 'Notification Helper') it might make sense to double check settings of the mail client for filtering rules and/or spam filter settings.

As they might also be server based it might additionally make sense to involve a mail administrator (if present on your end) to have a look at mail server log files. Additionally to all of that debugging outgoing mail of the Jira mail server an a good idea.

It will give you a sense of where the mail is missing - or if it is not generated at all.

Please also check documentation for further information on how to do it.
