Hi Team,
I have added new gadget Grouped Filter Result(by sum up) and added filter.
But at the end Average of field is not coming correct.
As in the screenshot given- "idea to POC conversion - Target" is average field created through "Calculation Rule".
the sum up is 1+4+4= 9 and total issue are 8
so, at the end average should be 1.12 but here it is showing 2.
Similarly for TCV-target, TCV (Euro) and Indian Contribuation-target
Please guide on this.
Thank you!
Hi @Preeti Yadav you don't mention if you're on Jira Cloud or Jira Server. If you're on Server, the ticket doesn't mention what version you are on. I see two tickets fixed on Atlassian's Jira site regarding averaging that were fixed in 8.2. Are you on that version or greater? If not, it would probably be worth updating and see if the issue is resolved.
JRASERVER-69172 JRASERVER-40733
If you're on the cloud version, there was a ticket that was closed due to lack of interest: JRACLOUD-40733
But in my opinion, that should be fixed if there is an actual calculation issue. If you are on the cloud, it might be worth opening a ticket with support to get this reopened.
Hi @Dan Breyen ,
Thanks for replying!
We are using Jira Server and version is v8.5.7.
I am still not able to find why this calculation error is happening. Could you please guide us.
Thank You!

Could this be your issue? JRASERVER-34157
If not I would open a ticket with Support (support.atlassian.com/contact) for further investigation.
