Not related user comment on Jira ticket

EOS Hungary September 21, 2021

Hi all,

we have 1 ticket in project A which has 3 linked issues (1 causes, 2 caused by) in project B.

All tickets in project B has been closed by User A.

pic1.png

Comments (internal) in ticket 1 in project A shows, that User B (who has no affiliation to tickets in project B at all) commented that these tickets has been closed.

pic2.png

User B is not assigned to or set to watch this ticket, he was only set to approve this ticket at the time of its creation.

User B says that he has not commented on this ticket and confused as to why this happened.

Do you guys have any clue as to why this happened?

Much appreciated!

Peter

The identical text on these makes me think there is a post-function, listener or automation picking up the change of status being made by B and commenting on a linked issue in A.

Hello,

this is done by an automation?

Do you have "switch user pluggin installed"?

Do you have "scriptrunner installed"?

Best regards!
