is it possible for a ticket agent to get a notification if a ticket has been on 'waiting for customer' for a specific time? If so, how do i set it up?
You could use the JIRA's Filter Subscription to search for issues that have not been updated in a certain time in a certain state (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Receiving+Search+Results+via+Email).
