Notification issue

Kindly help me to understand the problems here:

1. I don't see the notification above the bell (numbered red count). 

Could it be because of payment details? I've not added it yet.

I've shown on the screen the notification I've configured via automation but still see this notification only by clicking on the bell. Why is it so?

1. I don't see the notification above the bell (numbered red count).

The number that displays over the bell disappears as soon as you click on the bell. It will start incrementing again when you close the pop up and receive additional notifications.

The "move" event that triggers that notification is the move of the issue from one project to another. The "move" is not the move of an issue from one column to another on a board. The move of an issue from one column to another on a board is actually changing the Status of an issue. You might need to use the Issue Updated event instead.

What about the first question:

I don't see the number in any way. Whatever has happened I just don't see the count over the bell. To see the event I need to click on the bell and choose the tab "Watching".

This is the only way to see what is reflecting on the bell.

I was trying to configure it on the menu "Open in a new tab" but there is no customization:

I just realized that the notifications of the drawer are what I should read in the first place. Here is what I've found: more info. But there are no details about the count reflection over the bell.

It could be I don't see the count because I am directly viewing the board making some changes. It's the only reason I can assume for now. Kindly see the screen:

The documentation you linked as your "more info" reference is for Confluence, not Jira. And the comment you highlighted is relevant to Confluence, not Jira.

But it appears that there is no documentation for this feature that is specific to Jira.

I have not been able to find any documentation about how the count above the bell works. I assumed that it worked in a manner similar to comparable functionality I've seen in other apps (like this community). I have not done thorough testing to try to determine how it works.
