I created a jira project but if a user create ticket he doesn't receive the notification by email  i would like he receives it.

can you help me please

Hi @Ayouba MAIGA,

There's a good chance @Thomas Deiler is right about the cause. Jira can however help you diagnose the cause of the problem.

If you have the necessary permissions, on the detail view of an issue you can find an Admin button, with under it the Notification helper:

This pretty neat feature lets you test why a user is/isn't getting any notifications:

Dear @Ayouba MAIGA,

by default the creator of an issue won't get any mails. The user itself can adjust the notification behavior in its profile settings:

In My Changes, Choose between making JIRA send you email notifications about issue updates made by either both you and other people ( Notify me ) or other people only (i.e. Do not notify me ).

Taken from: Managing your user profile

But be sure, that the event "Create issue" is also assigned to the "Reporter" in the notification scheme.
