Hi,

Sometimes, I want to create an issue that is assignee to me, but to resolve the issue I need help of other members of the team, I mean that the issue concerns not only the assignee but also other users.

How can I do that with JIRA? I want for example an email with a link to the issue (or even defining the issue directly in the mail) sent to this (these) concerned person(s).

Thanks

If it were host JIRA, you could use the email this issue plugin even though I prefer the watchers solution better in either hosted or onDemaid.

Hi Mickael,

One way to do this is to add these users to the watchers list. Then, set your notification scheme to send updates to watchers.

Another way is you can make use of the "Participants Field", provided by the JIRA Toolkit Plugin (if this plugin is not enabled in your OnDemand instance, you can request support to enable it). This field is similar to CC functionality in emails, where you can add participants/other users to the ticket. Any activities by the user (like commenting) will automatically include the user to the field. Furthermore, you can set your notification scheme to include this field.
