Number of max database connections

Hello community,

there are many errors in the jira log file (atlassian-jira.log) by my client using Jira server. Errors with text "Dangerous use of multiple connections". I found out that the solution for bigger instance could be increase the connections limit. According to log, there are around 97 connections, so reasonable value seems to be 120 (default 20, currently 30). Do you have any experience with higher number of connections, what are the risks to set value 120?

There should not be any risk provided your DB able to handle those connections.

you DB performance should be good like DB server RAM, CPU and other DB tunning parameter..
