We at Discover are currently evaluating the App for both Cloud and Data Center versions. We would like to understand:
Should we wait to move to Cloud? Looking for advice.
Thank you.
Hi @NAYANA,
I just wanted to add to Trudy`s answer, that a third-party app does not necessarily need a "Cloud Migration Assistance" badge to support the migration.
For example, for our app OKR Board for Jira we don't have this badge yet, but we offer migration to Cloud just with a couple of clicks in the app's Settings, when you export the file with all the information and upload it to your Cloud instance.
You can ping us at support@oboard.io with all the questions you might have or just book a demo with our team to see the app in action.
Best regards,
Julia
Hi @NAYANA ,
there are some differences in the feature set between DC and Cloud versions of the app, in favor of the Cloud version.
I see you booked a meeting with me already, that's great! We'll go through the differences between the product during the call and a member of our engineering team would be available for answers regarding migrating your data.
See you soon,
Weronika

Hello @NAYANA
When a third party app that is supported for both self-hosted and Cloud products provides some sort of migration support, you will see a label like this on the Atlassian Marketplace listing for their app that is compatible with self-hosted.
And there will be a link under Resources for the Cloud Migration Path.
That label and link are not present in the Marketplace Listing for Appfire's OKRs for Jira app.
That suggest to me that either there is no migration path, or no migration is needed.
I recommend that you contact the support team for the app directly to ask this question. Links to contact them can be found on the Support tab in the Marketplace listing.
