Hi, I am site-admin (of https://porosys.atlassian.net) along with a colleague of mine. Although I can access the admin features (such as managing users), my colleague can not! I have already tried re-granting him site-admin access, but that hasn't resolved the issue. Can someone help?

Hi @Kamyar Poureatesam , welcome to the community.

I see that you are on a free plan is that correct? Can I also ask if you were at one time on a standard or premium plan and then downgraded to free? You'll see in the documentation here that if you start on a free plan and remain on a free plan then all users will have for administrative access and this cannot be changed. However, if you were on say a standard plan and then downgrade to a free plan then the permissions would be frozen based on how they were when on standard. in this event, you cannot change the permissions of any users.

With all that said, if you could show what the permission levels are for the other user it might help confirm/refute my theory.

Hi @Jack Brickey, thank you for your prompt response.

I am the user who is the org-admin and has lost access to all admin features. The screenshot in the original post shows my permission levels. Your are correct, we are on a free plan. Although our Jira plan has always been free (never downgraded), the Product Discovery plan was at one point made premium and then downgraded back to free.

Does this mean that, on a free plan, we are only allowed a single user to hold the org-admin role? If so, how can we transfer that role from @Kamyar Poureatesam to me, without accidentally ending up with no one as org-admin in an intermediary undesired situation?

Hi @Kamyar Poureatesam , if you have always been on free plan then every user should have org admin permissions. On free you cannot configure permissions they are static/fixed. I see that you are an org admin but what does your colleague show in user management?

@Jack Brickey I (Soroush Saffari) am the colleague in question and the screenshot attached to the original post shows my permissions as stated in the user management panel.

I'm reattaching the screenshot to this comment.IMG_2469.png

Thanks for that. So are you saying you don't see "user management" or cannot access it or what exactly? As an org admin you should be able to access User management. What do you see if you click on the Cog/sprocket in upper right?
