On Mac Sierra OS The Extended menu opened from Toolbar showing list upwards

In Atlassian Editors for Mac Sierra OS, when an extended menu is opened the dialog always opens upwards and hence the content is not visible at times.

from newer Mac OS updates the dropdown is always below.

By your description, I understand you've installed the Jira Cloud app for Mac in your macOS Sierra, and the drop-down option to insert new formats in the editor is opening upwards, not displaying its content. Is that correct?

As you can see in our official site where the app can be downloaded, only macOS Catalina supports the app, so other versions of Mac might have some bugs like the one you described above.

In order to avoid these minor problems, we suggest upgrading your machine to macOS Catalina which fully supports the app.

Please let us know If I've misunderstood your scenario and you are using the web version of Jira, providing us with the browser version you're currently using. Additionally, let us know which field you are trying to edit in the screenshot provided above.
