On a Surface Tablet I cannot drag tickets between columns in a sprint using a Surface Pen

We are currently using Surface Go tablets at our stand-ups. Within both Edge and Chrome I cannot drag a ticket between status columns in a sprint.

If I use the mouse/touchpad all is good but thats a bit cumbersome when standing up.

I have the same problem with Surface Pro 7
