Hi everybody,
we are using Jira Software since a few weeks. Now I have a problem I cannot find any solution for it that works...
I have one big project with different topics I user the "Board"-function for. When I fill out the backlog for one board, I also see the same backlog in all other boards.
How can I set up the filter to have my different backlogs in each board?
Thanks!
Wow, thank you all for the fast answers and solutions! It worked with the filters perfectly!
Thank you!
A board is a view of a set of issues, it's not a container for them. Issues will appear in many boards if they match the selection criteria.
To get different backlogs in different boards, change the filters that select the issues for the board. (The backlog is simply part of the view of the list, the stuff that is not closed or in the current sprint if you're in Scrum)

Hello @Monika Mainka
You can have an common problem which has an easy solution :)
Boards are built-in on filters make sure each board has it's own fileer has a specific criteria that distinguishes issues belonging to one board from another, it could be system field like "Component" or custom fields like "Team", squad" etc one team one board and each issue while getting created has to be mapped to an team....like that you can create clear categorization

Hi Monika,
I find that the easiest way to do this is to add labels. If you pick a label that is specific to each board and add it to the issues you want to appear on that board you can filter in it. You can also create a board that filters on more than one label if you want to combine some issues, or add more than one label to the issue if you want it to appear on more than one board.
Hope this helps,
