One User gets "An internal server error occurred when requesting resource" in activity stream gadget

On of our users is getting following error irregularly in his activity streams (any activity stream, no difference between profile, project or dashboard activity stream).
An internal server error occurred when requesting resource
Sometimes its there, sometimes not. When its happening it seems that there are some activity entries missing.
Its only on user and only since today.
The only change on that jira instance since the beginning of the year has been an update to version 7.3.6 a few weeks ago.
The atlassian-jira.log shows the following error when this happens:
Anyone has an idea why that error occures and why only that one? (1 of 150). And what to do?
