One does not simply import Trello Boards

Hello,

I am trying to import my Trello board to Jira. But the importer only manages to get the board name and create a projekt... a empty project.  There is no sign of my lists or cards.

The last scentence translated means something like. "The status of the list being processed couldnt be found "

This is an old Post, but I came here looking for a solution, because I have the same problem.

Unexpected failure occurred. Importer will stop immediately. 
Data may be in an unstable state: Der entsprechende Status für den Listennamen 
Im Gange wurde nicht gefunden.

I think the problem is a wrong translation with the mapped columns.  The importer doesn't know the named "Im Gange" column.

I just rename the problem column in Trello to "In Arbeit" and the importer works as expected.

Hi Magdalena,

Sorry to hear about this problem. I understand that you are using Jira Cloud and are trying to import some Trello boards into Jira, but that this is not working.  From your error message, and another I have found from some logging, it appears that the importer believes that there is some kind of name collision when it comes to statuses in this particular Jira project.

Could you share with me the names of the columns on the Trello board in question? Maybe just a screenshot of the titles of the columns in Trello. I am interested to see if I can better understand the corresponding Trello columns that are trying to be importing into status names for this Jira project.  Perhaps there is some kinds of duplicate name, or perhaps this is a problem with a character translation.  So far I don't have enough information to determine the exact cause here.
