One project 3 board

Hi,

I want to create 3 boards:

Board A

Board B

Board C

How can I separate statuses from A and B boards with "In Progress"? When I transition an issue to "In Progress" in A board, the issue also appears in the "In Progress" column in B board.

My friend mentioned JQL filters to me. Is it possible to apply this filter for everyone in the project?

Or maybe there is another way?

Each board relies on an underlying filter.  You would need to create the filter only to show issues in the board you want them in.

However, are you asking to show an issue in multiple boards and each have it's own status?  That isn't possible with status, an issue can only have one status at a time.  You could use a custom field, but that would not work with boards.

If you do need to have a different status on the same issue in different boards, I question the use case here and would encourage you to rethink your process, or maybe I've misunderstood and you could expand on what you are asking. If there is a solid use case for this, you'd need to break the issue into multiple issues, clone or create subtasks so they are different issues and can have different statuses per board.

I want to make the issue on board A visible only in board A with the status "In progress not in others."

For example:

MT-1 only board A In progress

MT -2 only board B In progress

Maybe I should add custom field with the name of boards?
