One project missing from a multiple projects board

I set up a board to contain issues from different projects: Development, Support and QA Classic.

The Filter for the board works properly, I see 19 issues when I use it in Advanced search.

However, on the board issues from 1 project (Support) are all missing. Does it have something to do with the project being Kanban, while the rest are scrum?

Hi @Yuliia Zhyliaieva

A few things you can check:

  • Status Mapping: Ensure the correct statuses are mapped to the appropriate columns.
  • Sub-Filter: If this is a Kanban Board, ensure the sub-filter isn't filtering out the issues. Sub-Filter is located in the "General" tab
  • Board Filter: Ensure that when you modified the filter you pressed Search first, then Save - otherwise the modification isn't made
  • Board View: Check there's no Quick Filters that would be limiting your current view of the board
  • Scrum Board: If this is a Scrum Board, make sure the issue is in an active sprint if you want to see it on the board - otherwise it'll be in the Backlog
  • Swimlanes: Ensure you're not utilising a swimlane setup. For example, if you have swimlanes based on Epics - Epics with no Stories won't appear on the board, as it's visualising only those with active children.

For the configuration options - try removing / modifying the board to make it a simpler view and ensuring they appear.

If none of this works - try creating a new board with your filter and seeing if the issues appear! If they do (with columns configured), it's likely board configuration-based - if they don't, then it's more likely to be a filter issue :)

Yep, it is the scrum thing... the issues that are missing from the board are all in the backlog. Thanks!

Hi @Yuliia Zhyliaieva

Please check the board configuration and make sure that there aren't any unmapped statuses

Untitled.pngThe status INBOX (1 day to check) contains 4 issues, and it is mapped to the column, but the issues don't appear on the board

Seems like issues from a Kanban board do not appear here. I experimented with other unmapped statuses, and one issue popped up on the board - and it was the one of 213 that had a sprint field updated by mistake

I created a Kanban project instead of Scrum, and everything works the way I wanted
