One project, multiple boards?

I have a product with projects running concurrently. I would like to track these in one place but see them running independently. When i create a new board for the next project it duplicates the previous project's issues and synchronizes them. Is there a way around this?

Boards just represent the state of your issues, that is why if the state of an issue changed, it will change on all boards. For example, you have an issue in the New status and then you moved this issue to the In Progress status. The issue will move to the In Progress status on all boards and as a result the issue will move to the board column, which is associated with the In Progress status.
