×Hello,
I want to reduce the number of tickets that show up in our backlog column on the kanban board, but I have no idea how to do JQL and I haven't found anything helpful when googling.
Thanks!
As far as I know, I don't think you can restrict the amount of tickets that should show up in a specific column. But do you have a backlog view enabled for your Kanban board? This may help keeping your board clean.
The "Backlog" status would serve as the Kanban backlog (board > configure > columns).
Then a "To Do" status would be the first column on your board.
The backlog view gets enabled when using this configuration and allows you to simply drag and drop tickets from within the backlog view into the "To Do" section. (The backlog view is accessible through the icon in the left sidebar, same place as the backlog view).
Hope this helps your use case.
If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
Kind regards
Jorden
