Only track date in time log (Time Tracking) entries

By default, when you use time tracking to enter your time worked against a task you enter the date/time that work was completed. My team has found this to offer unnecessary and confusing resolution. Most people don't even look at the time when entering. Ideally people should log their work as they do it, but realistically that happens at the end of the day or the morning of before the scrum. (or even later)

Is there any way to change this field to simply track the date? that would really clean up and simplify our burn down charts.

@Zach Mauch i'm not sure i'm fully following here. When you log work you don't have to edit the date/time field it displays 'now' and you simply enter the Time Spent. Granted if they want (or are asked) to make the date accurately represent when the work was done they need to edit the field but otherwise just leave to the 'now' value. TBH, I have never really worried with or monitored the date/time work is logged.
