Open attachments tends to get spammed

Dear Jira team, could you please restrict uploading attachments to an issue to only the creator?

At the moment spammers are taking advantage of this "feature" to upload pdf files of their shitty certification programs or whatever, so our inboxes got then spammed because we are of course following our own created issues.

PD: I mean https://jira.atlassian.com/ not a custom installation.

Your Jira administrators can do this by modifying the permission schemes in the projects.  I'd also suggest changing your settings so that people can't create spam accounts to do this with.

We can't do this for you, we are end-users of the software and have no admin rights over your system.

Ah, ok.  Yes, Atlassian are neglecting that system.  We do keep asking them to show it some attention, even if it's just to close down stuff they're no longer interested in.
