Hi all!
We have setup a business type JIRA project to facilitate our partner communications where the tickets in the project are getting created through a JIRA form that has 'Open' type of access. The users who would be filling this form our onboarded onto our instance but they're not supposed to be able to see the content of the project. We only want them to be able to submit requests to the form.
While doing internal testing, the form appeared to working as expected. However, for some reason, today when one of the partner users tried to submit the form, they keep getting an error of 'Something's gone wrong. Refresh the page and try again.' And, while they receive the error message, the ticket on the board containing the information filled on the form is getting created. So not sure why they are getting the prompt of something gone wrong when actually the request is coming through.
Hello, Good day. Are the users using desktop web browsers or mobile web browsers? Could you collect HAR logs to find the error reason code?. Thanks
I've run into the same error across two different company-managed Jira projects, despite the fact that each one uses distinct workflows, custom fields, and post functions. According to the HAR logs, the issue seems to be linked to a post function that doesn’t exist in either project and isn’t in use across any of our current company-managed workflows. I also reviewed the global configurations and didn’t find any post functions that could be affecting these setups. At this stage, I’m not sure what else could be triggering the problem.
