OpenID default password

When new users auth into the system the first time and a user is created on Jira's side, what password is assigned? My current use case is giving a new user Admin privileges. They are prompted for a second auth to access the admin section. Using the OpenID button puts them in an auth loop. There appears to be no password. If the user goes into their profile to change their password they are prompted for 'Current Password' which is unknown. Support for this plugin is non-existant. Author should provide documentation or pull the plugin from the market place.
