Hi,

To improve usability it would be good to have a button (like the button "create sub-task") inside the story screen to create a related bug.

Are there any confs or apps that implement this?

Thanks alot!

Hello @Julio Augusto de Oliveira

If you click on the Link Issue button that opens the Linked Issue section in the parent issue. Then click the Create Linked Issue link in that section and that will open the Create Issue dialog where you can fill in the details to create the Bug issue. If that is not sufficient can you provide more details?

It could be useful, but there is an immediate problem with it - how does <any random Jira you pick> know what a "bug" means to that system?

It looks easy enough if the system has an explicit "Bug" issue type, but even then, your bugs might be base issues, or sub-tasks.  And if you implement one button for it, why not other issue types?  Your users could easily justify having to add 87 buttons for all their different types.

If you can work through those problems, then I think we're still a bit stuck - I don't think there's a way on Cloud to insert the buttons in that area (yet)
