Order by Rank ASC for the To Do column and Order by resolution date for Done column In Kanban board

I am trying to use a dual ranking setup whereby my to do column is allowing ORDER BY Rank so that the product owner can prioritze the to do column so the team pulls from the top of the column. At the same time, I am trying to ORDER by resolutiondate in the done column so that the most recent items pulled to done are at the top of the column. Has anyone done this, and if so, could you please share your filter JQL? Thanks

Probably a separate board just for the Done column. It is very easy to switch back and forth between boards. 

What is your goal in having the Done column sorted?

separate boards would be muda for the team.

the goal is to allow the team to see what work has recently been completed.

In stand-up when team members say, "I finished this......" it will be right on top

Do you not do periodic releases in JIRA to clear the Done column? We do continuous deployment but clear the JIRA boards once a week when we review what was Done the previous week. A separate board would not be needed if you do those often as the only things in the Done column are recent things.
