On the kanban board, when grouping issues by assignee, the order of the swimlanes is seemingly random and not alphabetic. We prefer alphabetic ordering of the 'assignee-swimlanes'. Can this be fixed?
Thanks!
/Jonas
Hello @Jonas Tidström
I believe that the names should be ordered alphabetically based on Display Name.
Can you provide a partial example of the names that seem out of order? Just provide enough of each name to demonstrate they are not ordered correctly.
Have you checked to see if the ordering corresponds to the login they use to access Jira?
If you are not comfortable posting that information in this community, you can reach out directly to Atlassian Support for assistance:

From Atlassian/Admin/Users
where the numbers refer to the 'position of the swimlane' in the previous image. As can be seen in this example, the order ot the users as presented in the Atlassian/Admin/Users corresponds to the order of the login (email).

I am not seeing the same incorrect ordering in my own personal instance, but I don't have very many users.
I'm not finding an issue in Atlassian's backlog about this.
I advise you to open a support case directly with Atlassian to find out if this is a known issue, or specific to your instance. You can open a case here:
