Is it possible to edit a Jira filter results gadget to automatically show tickets in reverse chronological order? Would we need to add a column to the gadget/edit the filter to sort by date created instead?
Thank you.
If you change your filter to be ORDER BY created DESC
Thank you @Jack Brickey But I don't really get your explanation. Can you please explain further and also provide any URLs?

When you use a dashboard gadget most require you to specify a filter or project. If you go to advanced search and create any filter, e.g. project = abc and status != done order by created DESC. Then you could save the filter and associate to your dashboard gadget.

Not sure what you are looking for exactly but …
https://yoursdomain.atlassian.net/issues/?jql=order%20by%20created%20DESC
will get you to Advanced Search screen
Will help explain your dashboards and how to create and edit them.

I understand, and the filter that you use should allow you to change the order. As stated previously this is done by either using a ASC (ascending) or DESC (descending). Can you please provide your filter that you would be using for the gadget and which specific gadget you are using?
Once you have the filter displaying the issues that you’re interested in then let me know and I can assist with reversing the order if needed.
