Our Jira Server have 8 GB RAM und 4 GB for Java . Sometime we get OUT of Memory. Every 2 Week

Hello,

 

1 time in 2 Weeks. Than again all 2 weeks . Our Jira on Ubuntu get

 

Out of Memory . Killed process 1268 (Java= total-vm:89788888kb, anon-rss:6655824kb, file-rss:0kb, shem-rss:0kb, UID:1002 pgtables:14548ikb oom_score_adj:0

 

What can we do ? Server have 8 GB RAM.

 

No i do Server on 10 GB .. und JAVA minimmun 2 GB aND Maximum 6 GB

Should be Minimimun and Maximun same size ?

Or besser Set java to 8 gb ?

I'd probably change your server memory to 12GB and leave the JVM setting alone.  Watch the Jira application log and see if it complains about memory. If it does, raise the JVM heap memory values by 1GB (total of 5GB.) For best performance, set the minimum and maximum heap values to be the same.
