Overall Requirements Coverage Gadget group by custom field

Hi all, 

When I choose project in "Project or Saved Filter:"  In the overall Requirements coverage gadget, the group by shows also custom fields.

But when I choose saved filter it shows only native fields. Could someone help me figure out why ?
