Override workflow

I have my workflow set up to go from task created --> backlog --> to-do...etc. I have moved my task from backlog to the to-do list, however I have now decided it needs to stay in the backlog, even though there is not a step set up from this in the workflow scheme. As an admin, is there a way to override this (move back a step), even though that's not an option in the scheme?

No, and although there might be some hacks available, they won't be possible with the hosted version.

You should change your workflow so there are anywhere->anywhere transitions but with conditions such that only administrators can do them.
