PARENT CHANGE STATUS WHEN SUBTASK STATUS CHANGE

Hi,

I would like that my parent issues changes when one of their subtask change status to a superior status. ¿Can this be possible? ¿How?

Actually we have an automatization plug-in but we have to pay. And im reading other people do this. Thanks is advice :)

Hello,

This is not possible with default Jira features. Which plugin do you use?

Different plugins have different solutions for this issue. For example if you have Jira Suite Utilities, there is a postfunction called Linked Transition. Or if you have Script Runner, you can achieve it with a small script.

Thanks for your answer. We have the automation lite for jira but i think this is in the PRO version.

Also we can code some post-function with the defaultl jira features but it has to go flow by flow modifying.¿ do you think that is possible?

I don't think I understand what you mean by flow by flow modifying but it's not possible without an external plugin, I'm afraid. It's actually a very common request from users and you can see there are many questions about it if you search for it.
