Hi,
I'm trying to setup PageMe! on Jira 8.2.3
When trying to set the connection to Confluence, I get the following error:
Confluence SOAP API endpoint is not reachable. Please ensure that the base URL is correct and that you have
SOAP API is checked as required, and Base URL is set on both applications.
Please advise what to check
Thanks
Itamar
It sounds like the app needs updating so that it uses the REST interface for Confluence - SOAP was deprecated in Confluence 5.5 and is being removed in later versions.
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
The app is the latest version (2.1.4)
I have other installs that uses this version with no issue on latest Jira/Confluence versions.
Confluence 6.15.4 does not indicate any deprecation of SOAP:
"Remote API (XML-RPC & SOAP) - Enabling the remote APIs allows you to access Confluence remotely."

If you have other installs which are working, then you have to look at what you are doing differently with the broken one. What have you turned off, or firewalled away?

Thanks again,
Are you connected somehow to this plugin?

Not sure if it helps anyone, but this app is no longer on the marketplace.
