Parent Issue Summary - Subtask Summary

Hello,

I am creating a subtask with the 'Create a sub-task' feature in the Script runner plugin.

When creating a subtask, I want the summary of the parent issue to come next to the summary of the subtask.

How can I write a script for this?

Is this on a workflow post function? if so you can see on my screenshot below Adaptavist have the snippet you need, once you click this it adds it to your clipboard and you can paste it in. if this isn't a post function can you give us some more detail to what it is?

Like Will said in the other answer, there is a built-in snippet for that. Select the "Append Parent/Source issue summary to subtask"
