Hello,
we have in some workflows-states set 'jira.issue.editable=false', so issues can't be edited when issues are e.g. closed.
So uploading attachments is also not allowed due to this property.
Adding comments is still allowed... If I paste an image into a comment, it seems to work - when I save the comment, the image is gone and a not found graphics is shown there:
Is this due to misconfiguration in our workflow or is it a bug, that Jira doesn't show up an error message directly when pressing Ctrl+V?
Rgds
Dieter
Hey @Dieter Guthmann
What Rishav has answered might be from the cloud jira version.
In Jira 8.21 actually a error message is shown when you paste the attachment in the comment window saying adding attachment is not supported on this screen.
So in order to answer the question adding attachment is also not supported when you add that property in the workflow.

Vishwas
I posted of this issue in a different way. Attachments blocked with jira.issue.editable property
So why are attachment blocked, but edits on other fields are saved.

Hi @Dieter Guthmann when u have applied the workflow property as mentioned above you won't be able to add image in the comment section . it will show error like I have attached a image below.
So, if u want that image to be there u should have to remove the property.
Thanks !!
