We use the JIRA software (on premise) and recently the users started complaining about the performance of JIRA. The number of bugs keeps increasing everyday and I have re-indexing time to time but it didn't resolve the issue, as we still have trouble with the performance. Will archiving old tickets (in closed status) help to improve the performance? What are the other possible options we have to improve the performance of JIRA server?
Please advise.
