Perfromance issue of Jira API on integration with Testersuite webhook

Hello,

We have an JIRA server with TesterSuite webhook configured.

As indicated by TesterSuite, our Jira server frequently is very slow. The API of Jira sometimes responds only after minutes. 

As business users of TesterSuite we frequently retrieve requirements from Jira to TesterSuite and we push defects as bugs to Jira. We often see errors and time outs when using the interface for this. This has been going on since the interface went live more than a year ago.

Can you please help us determine where the performance issue cam come from?
