Periodic warning to user after work has started logging

I have been struggling on this issue for quite a long time, and still couldn't find a solution.

We use Automated Log Work module to let user Start Timer when working on an issue.

Usually all users will forget the Timer is running... you know, the time logging becomes meaningless because the timer might runs for days without anyone knowing.

I want something to remind user periodically that a timer is running, and they should stop the timer when appropriate.

Is there anything available for this? Scripts? But how I set up loops to run scripts?

If you want it to be fully automated, the plugin has option as 'Automatic' mode. That doesnt suite your needs?

For the prompt to users, it is better to ask the plugin vendor for this improvement.
