Permission Issue

Im trying to create issue in jira when a particular type of incident is created.Im getting this error "{"errorMessages":["You do not have permission to create issues in this project."],"errors":{}}".Please do the needful.

It doesn't matter whether you use a script or API, you must have create permission in the permission scheme applied to the project, and it appears you don't.  Remember, Jira administrators ID must be included in the permission scheme.

If you aren't familiar with permissions I suspect you aren't the Jira administrator Check out: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/manage-project-permissions/

You need to check the permissions of your MFT project.

The user you are using to fire the API requests need the "Create Issue" permission (you can check this in the permission scheme that is configured in the project settings)
