Permission based transition depending on status

Hi Atlassian Community, 

I just want to ask if it is possible to set a permissions of groups that can only move issues depending on status. 

For example: 

I have a group called QA so for example If the current status is Needs Testing then only QA users can move this issue to other status. 

How can I achieve this kind of permission?

On your workflow transition, set the condition "User Is In Group" or "User Is In Project Role"

to restrict only the QA users to be able to make this transition.

As a prerequisite, you need to wither have a group or project role that is set up for the QA users.

If you mean to allow some users to transition issues, you can add this set of rules in the transition workflow conditions.

This way the transition button will be only visible to the users that belongs to the group or role defined.
