Permission for search user for assignee per project

Hello,

we use JIRA 7.3 and have different groups. One group has the global permission to search for users, all the other groups has to find the users with there usernames.

Is it possible to set a permission per project that users can search other users from the same group or a group that they are allowed to search?

To give all users the permission to search other users is not an option.

Currently, there is no way to do this - you can either search users globally, or not.
