I would like to give a certain member the permission to change screens and fields for a specific project.
Is it possible to grant permission to change screens and fields for a specific project only?
I understand that if I grant the person Jira Admin, they can change the screens and fields for all projects.
However, I don't want him/her to be able to manipulate the screens and fields of other projects.
It has been mentioned in past topics, but is it still difficult to get the latest Jira?
If there is a good way to set up permissions, I would appreciate it if you could let me know.
Hello @Tomoyuki Sano - I think the member of your team will benefit the most from standing up a Team Managed project (previously named Next Gen). With Team Managed projects they can build out their own issue types, screens, workflows, and configure their own user permissions without impacting existing Company Managed projects (previously named Classic).
Below are some helpful links on the differences between the two types of Jira project types. The first link was recently published to share background on the name change and the second link is from 2018 and breaks down the differences between the two types of projects.

Hello @Andrew Kendris
Thank you for your quick answer.
I now understand that I can achieve this by migrating my current Classic project to the Next Gen project.
Thank you very much for your help.
