Hi,
we would like to link a commit in git hub to a Jira Id. The idea is to be able to track all related Jira issues per version (set of commits) in Git, from drill down list.
Additionally, we want to see all linked commits in Jira at issue level.
what is the most preferable and comfortable way to associate git commit with a Jira issue without open the jira site and search for relevant issuekey?
@Eliyahu Klein hi! Do you plan on using any tools to connect the two systems? There are some 3rd party solutions that can help you make the integration and link GitHub commits to Jira (at the issue level). Such is ZigiOps - a bi-directional, 100% no-code integration tool. It's easy to use, and fully customizable (so you can tweak it to fit more than one use case). It can connect Jira and GitHub and transfer the data you want. Feel free to check out ZigiOps and if you want to see how it works, you can book a demo.
Regards, Diana (ZigiOps team)
